   ¹ Serling escribió 89 de los 151 capítulos que conformaron las tres primeras temporadas de La Dimensión Desconocida (1959/60; 1961/62; 1963/64), que se filmaron en blanco y negro. Promediando 1963 se grabaron dieciocho episodios de una hora de duración, (la primera versión duraba treinta minutos). Sin embargo, la ampliación repercutió en el rating, lo que obligó al canal a devolverla a su formato original.

   Richard Matheson, junto con Charles Beaumont, fue uno de los guionistas de confianza de Serling -y junto con él- creo algunos de los capítulos clásicos de la serie: "Third from the Sun", "The Last Flight", "A World of Difference", "A World of his Own", "Little Girl Lost" y "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet".
